Corporate heavy handedness trickles down and permeates every aspect and position in this company. The workplace culture is one of paranoia, fear, and unattainable demands. Don't be fooled that you will be the exception or the one to make a "change". Employee's are used up and thrown out, completely disposable no matter what level you are.
