      Goodlearning opportunity, but not the best place for long-term growth

      Pros

      -I appreciated the chance to collaborate with senior leadership early in my career. Getting face time with executives helped me better understand the industry and what future career paths might look like. -The company brings a lot of new and creative ideas to student living, which made the work feel fresh and exciting. -This role gave me a lot of exposure and helped me grow professionally in ways I’ll carry with me.

      Cons

      -We were not provided with a clear commission structure, which left teams unaware of rates and key milestones required to achieve bonuses. Additionally, goals and expectations regarding commission often changed, making it difficult to plan and track performance. -Career growth felt limited. Decisions about an employee’s future were often made without involving them in the conversation, which could be discouraging. -There was always a clear lack of staffing, which meant responsibilities and deadlines frequently shifted, often adding new duties outside of the original role—beyond just jumping in when needed. -There was a noticeable disconnect between the corporate and on-site teams, almost like two different companies working separately.

      Pros

      Health benefits, hybrid work schedule, great pay, lots of perks in the Chicago office, and a new office coming soon, good vibes when working with all the teams.

      Cons

      I would like to work from home more and get more done without the distractions of an open office. Execs don't leave their office much.

      Good workers, horrible management

      - The coworkers were amazing - Property and amenities are nice

      Cons

      - Management is inconsistent, does not know how to keep their word, or how to communicate with employees or residents - Management loves to leave the leasing agents to the wolves (residents) and not help - Management has no problem degrading you in front of residents
