Pros
Barghausen is a very flexible and supportive working environment.
-They are great at mentoring their employees to help them grow, providing great training and learning opportunities with real projects.
-From the start, employees can reach 40 hours however they feel is the best for them (4 x 10s, 4 9s and a half day, etc.) provided they can do so productively. After the initial few months, employees are given the the option to work from home if needed, and are provided opportunities for optional overtime (with 1.5x pay). This flexibility and understanding attitude from management serves to create an excellent work-life balance. Everyone is very friendly and there are many company-wide events and competitions which create a very high morale in the office (including standard summer office hours of 4 x 9s with a half day on Friday, usually with a catered breakfast on Friday mornings, photo competitions, hikes, happy hours, etc).
-There is a lot of work to keep everyone busy, but it is managed in such a way that it is usually not overwhelming for employees and divided pretty evenly. If you are ever overloaded or overwhelmed, as long as you ask for help they usually can give you what you need, or even redistribute tasks throughout the team to ensure everything gets done.
Cons
Very few. Starting pay could be higher, but the 1.5x overtime pay and opportunities for progression should balance this out over time.
