Decent pay, thats literally it

surrounded by the worst of the worst constantly every day your working, and im not talking about the inmates. almost every single person there has a robocop mentality and they let you know it. on top of being the worst workplace environment ive ever experienced half of them are corrupt and take contraband into the prison for the inmates which is why i ultimately left. i would never suggest anyone to work there.

Overtime is always available or mandatory.

Cons

Employee safety is always at risk. But whats worse is the amount of "dirty" officers there are. They will set you up to fail to the point of your job being at risk.
