Pros

It was very exciting for the first few months when I started.

Cons

It looked so nice from outside, and presented so nicely and politely but unfortunately looks like the management is not very interested in any individuals as they're too busy increasing sales.

Sales-driven, short-sighted development

Pros

New engineering management driving real, positive change. Pay isn't bad.

Cons

Depending on the team the tech stack can be brand new, or a tech-debt laden monster. Entire sprints can be spent doing nothing but maintaining windows environments. Extremely sales-driven. Top engineering management do not care about long-term product health and will always advocate a tech-debt heavy "quick hack" over a proper solution. Key staff are overworked and forced into a culture of (unpaid) overtime. Code base is a free for all, no guidelines or controls in place to ensure code quality.

Pros

Absolutely not boring. Lots of variety in tech and projects to work on. Always learning something new. Even had a hack day where we could work on anything we wanted to. Lots of great smart people to work with.

Cons

It can get busy. I don't mind the fast paced work because it's interesting but some people might not be able to handle it.
