Pros
- good health insurance. - job security. they are definitely in-need of more workers for this position.
Cons
- not paid nearly enough. no one I've talked to honestly about this makes a living wage. - it's extremely hard to be promoted. - very corporate. lots of red tape. they ask for improvement suggestions but very rarely follow-up on your ideas or will just tell you "no." - you often feel like just another number. - raises are minimal. $500 bonus per year. taxed. - lots and lots of burnout despite "intervention" from management. I used to think I was a person with a lot of patience, but this job has made me think otherwise. I come home completely wiped and short-fused. my paychecks are way too low and so is my motivation. - we very rarely see management take the time to work a day in our shoes, yet they make adjustments to our day-to-day processes without having any recent or noteworthy hands-on experience.
