Pros

Have had my ups and downs with management, but overall a respectful and professional place.

Cons

Most processes are antiquated, and change has yet to come. Some departments still work in a mode that does not realize the student comes first. A new direction is needed.

Pros

The work load you have is really up to you, you can take very little work, or can do more by getting more involved with the programs the office runs. Co-workers are friendly.

Cons

Politics of office create an oppressive atmosphere, many people don't voice their opinions because of fear of being politically incorrect (far too much worry that someone will get hurt here). Management of many student programs is horrible because there's just too much for one person to do, and some programs get pigeonholed in favor of larger, more reputable ones.
