Pros

unlimited vacation (for now) , work from home, in summer they have tried to implement work life balance policies, and there’s a lot going on so you will have the opportunity to see a company transform (for the good or bad)

Cons

When I say try, they send out these temp policies to help work/life during the summer but no one has actually made an attempt to ensure it’s enforced. New leadership makes this a completely different company from a year ago and that’s by design. This place used to be a people organization. Unfortunately for us longer term folks, we know how it looked to be led by a caring organization because CSOD once showed us that. Now, we have an arrogant CEO and an organization that is determined to let you believe they are not in this for the long haul. I haven’t even yet mentioned the senior leadership ADHD, general workloads and unmeasured demands. Ultimately I am of little importance and they will switch me out for someone who can get them through the next quarter, it is a for profit business after all and who can blame them? It’s just the way it’s being carried out that makes you think the profit part is not working and you’re also now left w/o the people part as well.

I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. Your feelings are valid and thank you for sharing them with us. As Cornerstone has evolved and acquired companies, we are harmonizing our policies, processes, and practices to operate as one team. This introduces a lot of change. When making these changes, we aim to balance what is best for our business and our people in the long-term, while considering what is happening external and how we are evolving as a business. Changes affect each individual differently and I would appreciate hearing from you directly about how we can better support you. If you’re open to sharing more, please email me directly and I will set-up time for us to meet. - Carina Cortez

Pros

Your individual coworkers and teams are fantastic people. The clients are great to work with.

Cons

Tone-deaf leadership that doesn't know how to build or retain a company culture. No cohesive vision for the company's direction. Inability to successfully innovate or follow through on any given vision. Employee benefits have been significantly reduced to save the company money, giving the impression that things aren't going smoothly behind the scenes.

Thank you for your feedback. Our company has gone through significant change over the past few years, but we believe our vision, direction and strategy to execute has never been clearer. In fact, we launched our Talent Experience Platform (TXP) late last year at Convergence, held several internal and external sessions sharing our product roadmap and our vision of bringing our TXP to life. We will continue to share more and bring employees along in the process. It is true that recently we’ve made updates to our policies and benefits . For many years, Cornerstone and its acquired entities have had disparate and, often times, conflicting policies and practices, so we’ve made changes to better harmonize. If you’re comfortable, please reach out to me directly to share how we can better support you through this transformation. - Carina Cortez

Pros

There are lots of opportunities to move internally

Cons

There are too many changes with the recent aquisitions and changes in senior leadership, with largely a detrimental affect on the employees
