Pros

Culture is very positive, not too much politics, people are great. The emphasis, at least for consulting, is on getting your work done. Very flexible work hours and work from home policies.

Cons

At points one manager can hinder growth of the employees. No easy/transparent way to communicate with higher managers about issues.

Cornerstone has an open door policy where our Cornerstars are encouraged to interact with all levels of the organization including the Talent team and even our CEO. We believe in promoting internal growth and will continue to look for opportunities to encourage communication and transparency.

Pros

The people here are great. It's a fun place to work, people are smart & happy. No politics.

Cons

The only downside is also an upside. It's a fast growing company (which means tons of opportunity), but also means we are struggling with a culture shift. Tools and processes that worked when the company had 50 people don't work as well when we have 500.

Pros

Work with smart people of all ages, races, religions, and backgrounds, so it's very diverse. An exciting, timely product with application to any industry or size of company.Culture is to keep people around, so employees are encouraged to work together. Growing company so there are opportunities to advance and move around.

Cons

First and second level managers don't always share the cultural vision or the capabilities of the CEO and top management, so there is a gap between what is said at the top, and what the first and second level managers say and do.

We continually look for ways to invest in Cornerstar development. Cornerstone has a robust Development policy where our Cornerstars are able to attend conferences that will lead to their development and contribute to the business. No submissions have been denied since the implementation of the program earlier this year.
