Pros

Cornerstone does a tremendous job of hiring people that are smart, dependable, and easy to work with. They provide their employees many opportunities for staying active (softball, basketball, kickball, soccer teams, etc) as well as a plethora of free food daily (breakfast every morning, sodas and snacks throughout the day, and free lunch every Friday!). Most managers and executives are very approachable and the Company does a great job of fostering a fun culture with Lunch & Learns, monthly happy hours, and NBA & NHL tickets, etc.

Cons

For internal mobility sometimes the interview cycle takes longer than expected and open positions and headcount can be lost quickly. Some employees will become disengaged if this transition takes too long and will begin to explore other options.

Cornerstone has grown its Talent Acquisition team over the past year to compensate for internal and external growth. We have also grown our Learn & Development initiatives to include individual coaching, dedicated development days, and structured succession planning.

Pros

I have been with Cornerstone for almost 3 years. Cornerstone offers numerous opportunities for an employee to meet and network with other groups within Cornerstone. In my role, I need to work cross-functionally. These opportunities - everything from kickball teams to happy hours to panel discussions - have allowed me to be more successful in my career as I have developed relationships with colleagues in all departments. Also, as a young professional, these opportunities have been helpful in giving me visibility to other potential career opportunities.

Cons

The company is growing very fast, and with this growth, there is a lot of restructuring of departments/groups/roles/etc. As an employee, you need to adapt to this change, and be ready to adapt to the next!
