Management Harasses Their Employees

Pros

It's a job that requires you to be self sufficient because you get no support from management. If you like being an initiator you will find most of the answers on your own

Cons

Filthy dirty place in violation of many health codes....dirty air vents, roaches and traps right next to food preparation areas in cafeteria, soap in little supply and bad cleaning where many employees are crammed in a call center floor forced to share desks while management has their own reserved. forced to carry your belongings in a box. No on floor support. The managers say you cant talk to your fellow employees, however they are always huddled and socializing. They do not update any resources for employees to use, so updates are lost in random emails and not put in any central place. You can ask a question and managers will tell you ask someone else..yet they want you to "take ownership" on calls and want to harass you about quality when they themselves do not get on the floor and help their employees. They have TOO MANY PEOPLE crammed in a call center that must be in violation of fire codes. They add erroneous fees on customers accounts and bank that customers don't read their bills charging hundreds of dollars extra ruining people's credit. They call in on your line posing as customers to harass you because they see to think that you don't know it is them . They don't give you any annual pay raise tho they throw a pamphlet at you with each new skill and then want to grade you when they can't even update their archaic computer systems.

A cruel workplace

Pros

The only good thing was the work colleagues, who regrettably suffer from the same dilemma. Underpayment and incitement to fraud.

Cons

A deceptive business that is already on the border of legality. Not that they only cheat the customers, but also the employees are set limits and frauded with salary cuts.

Pros

Team colleagues are good people

Cons

Now starts the painful part: this company based its business in the acquisition of previous Shell's clients; during the first three months the T&C were kept just the same and then out of the blue customers were charged with 9/10 fees (some really ridicuolous), so the following 3/4 months we had to take calls by angry customers, consoling them and advicing them to terminate the contract because you felt bad for them. Then every person on a team has a base salary plus a bonus and during every quarter, when there is the performance assessment every excuse is good to reduce and trim that bonus. So not only Fleetcor steals from customers, but also from employees. The result is that nobody cares about the company's business and tries to leave. Another problem is the incredible miscommunication between departments: when you have a doubt one person tells you a solution and the one from another department tells you the opposite. The general takeaway about Fleetcor is that nothing makes sense: some teams have a huge amount of work with a few people and others have the opposite situation. In a few words, everything regarding Fleetcor is extremely unprofessional and in decline. Only a person with no principles and backbone would be happy to work for this companies of crooks.
