      Fun job! Customers are great. Benefits are good

      Cons

      - they don’t pay extra for being licensed in cosmetology or esthetics etc - even at full time, I make below the poverty line - corporate expects too much for the pay - they are so cheap especially after Covid - DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEE - no room for growth - only hire from outside (no promoting from within) - corporate wants this job to be your “first priority” and have no other job to worry about, even at 10 hours a week!

      Pros

      Access to professional products. Loved the people I worked with. Kicking out nonlicensed customers is always a joy. Enjoyed my job some days but not worth the disregard for my hard work with no reward.

      Cons

      Pay is terrible, especially for what they expect from employees. Higher management doesn't care who employees are. Have been told that if im not willing to work for the low wage they'll find someone who will. Even with being one of the top sellers for certain products and have a vast knowledge of hair types. Corporate also took away all full time positions in our store and only allowed 29 hrs so no benefits.
