Benefits Beyond the Typical

Pros

The company's employee focus is not just in its vision statement but shows up in some great employee benefits beyond what you typically see: Ten wellness half days throughout year, up to 32 hours of paid time off for volunteering, seven employee resource/affinity groups, $400 annual wellness account, employee relief fund for unexpected hardships, 8 weeks parental leave at 100% base pay for non-birth parent, commuter benefits, homeownership program.

Cons

No annual merit increase this year for managers and higher level personnel in order to contain costs (but this also allowed for merit increases to be maintained for those in lower level, individual contributor roles).

Pros

The people are the heart of this company—collaborative, talented, and genuinely supportive. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to move into different roles, each offering new challenges and growth. Leadership has consistently encouraged me to stretch beyond my comfort zone, helping me grow in ways I didn’t expect. There’s a strong culture of development, and the investment in employees is clear—from supporting ERGs to introducing the new Mental Health ERG, which I deeply appreciate. I also value the transparency from leadership about the company’s direction and their consistency in upholding the remote work policy, especially when so many other companies have reversed course.

Cons

Growth isn’t always comfortable. Some of the biggest challenges I’ve faced have come from being pushed to grow in unfamiliar ways—but those moments have also been the most rewarding. The bureaucracy of change can be a bit annoying and tedious - I'd like to see us move faster in some areas.
