Unfortunately the overall company Cotality is run by leaders that seem to have no understanding of how to manage people or how to manage a company that has so many different business models in it. Cotality buys up very successful smaller businsses then forces a 1 size fits all into everything from HR to client management support and care. They absolutely refuse to admit this will not work. When employees try to push back and explain why these changes will fail they are forced out by either a demotion or being placed on a PIP and their job is made difficult until they just quit. Any pushback against the orders is frowned upon behind closed doors of course, because out front they tell everyone to voice their concerns and it's a "safespace" when in reality it is a trap to find out who is going to not fall into place. They will tell you to do one thing in regards to client management and then when you need some support from the leadership to back the issue or item because the client is pushing back they will cave and throw you under the bus. It has been a mass exodus of talented people who had been around for 10, 15. 25 years. No efforts made to try and even retain the highly knowledgeable and skilled talent at all! Those that have not quit or have not been laid off are just waiting for the next shoe to drop. Some of their HR practices have been questionable as of late. We found it very strange timing when they decided to overhaul the employee performance and merit increase tracking policies and program. Ironically this took place after it appeared the financial numbers were beginning to trend down and the new changes were certainly geared toward allowing them to significantly reduce and even remove the qualifying metrics to give out raises and promotions. The changes allowed them to justify not giving hundreds if not thousands of people the financial increases they deserved and had worked very hard to earn that previous year. There have been clear efforts around getting rid of the highly talented and compensated individuals and efforts around reducing job roles to allow for easier replacement at significantly lower salaries.
