The executive team is very transparent, I felt like I was always in the know and was confident that decisions were made in the best interest of all employees. There is also great feedback culture, regular meetings with your supervisors and a culture that promotes personal growth as an individual and as a professional. I worked at Cotopaxi as a student, and my team was very willing to work with my school schedule, especially during busier times of the semester.

Cons

This is more circumstantial, but I'm not sure what the future of the office culture will look like. During COVID-19, obviously everyone has been working remotely and that is the right thing to do at the time, but there has been talk about a remote-first workplace indefinitely. As someone who thrives off a community at work and values mentorship in the early stages of my career, this was not news that I wanted to hear. Again, circumstantial, and I do not know what the future of this will look like, but would have been a long-term downfall for me.

The mission and the people behind the mission are some of the greatest parts of working at Cotopaxi. The amazing product and benefits are also a nice perk.

Cons

There's not always enough time or bandwidth to execute on all of the amazing ideas in the room.
