I learned so much in my time at Cottingham & Butler and owe a lot of my professional growth to the company and team I worked with. The relationships I formed while at C&B are some that I'll carry with me my entire life.

Cons

Cottingham & Butler works you hard, that's just the name of the game. There was also VERY minimal diversity and no effort to instill any kind of DEI initiatives, though that's partly the fault of where the business is located. Any talk of being more open and celebratory of the diversity of employees didn't really go anywhere.

Unreasonable claim inventory

There are no pros working here.

Cons

Training is horrible, our claim inventory is unfair to our Clients. We are unable to give the attention each Client pays for due to the high inventory given to each adjuster. I would never recommend this employer to anyone and I can not wait to find an employer who actually cares about their people.
