      Sorry to hear of this impression. We are glad to hear you enjoyed engaging with our residents (they are one of the best rewards for this job). Our campus and corporate management teams round with co-workers to learn of what is working and where there are opportunities to improve along with anonymous surveys after shifts to glean real-time feedback. And while training was adjusted during the pandemic when you were transitioning due to COVID restrictions, we are glad to have returned to our in-person, hands-on on-boarding which we know is the preferred interaction (we agree!). We hope you have found another fulfilling opportunity.

      Pros

      I love my residents very much; if I ever leave I would come back to see them. You really get to build relationships with them to the point that they’ll ask for you on your days off or ask how you are. Management I’d say was very good until recently, and I think it could get back to that. I know we’re all stressed out because finding good staff to work is difficult right now, so once that gets resolved it should be better. There’s also plenty of opportunity to move up if you’re willing to put in the work.

      Cons

      There has been an influx of work added to the point that going to work has stressed me out daily. I was recently ill, and told to come in regardless because we “didn’t have the best crew”. I was also told I could leave early if I did come in and then when I got there I found out I was scheduled alone for 1 1/2 hours and stayed the full time anyways. Considering the population we work with, I felt uncomfortable coming in to work but I also felt uncomfortable saying no due to the nature of the conversation. I don’t want to get into the specifics of this because I don’t want to be identified, but they have also mixed up some of my pay/benefit information.

      Family Owned organization that puts their customers and coworkers first! It is impressive how they have handled the pandemic and supported their coworkers through a most difficult time.

      Cons

      Honestly none. All organizations have challenges, but not all listen to their employees and work so hard to support positive change!

From securing PPE and testing supplies when they were scarce, to providing gifts of food and appreciation pay for co-workers, Country Meadows' number one priority remains keeping our co-workers AND residents safe.
