Pros

Health care benefits, the residents are sweet, and a beautiful campus to work in. You have the option of working the day, middle and night shift. I worked both the day shift as well as the middle shift. I preferred the crew on the middle shift the best. As a Med Tech I had 50 residents I had to check their vitals and administrate their meds. I enjoyed the residents and they become a part of your family, that was my favorite experience of this job.

Cons

Rarely get out on time and have to work every other weekend, which caused problems with the baby-sitter. The pay is low, I could barely cover my baby-sitting fees.

Thank you for recognizing some of the same consistently shared positives we hear from other co-workers. Our residents are the reason we do what we do, and our team members make it all worthwhile. We conduct regular evaluations of our compensation packages among others in our industry to ensure our wages are fair and competitive and make any real-time adjustment when needed. Also, we have a Talent & Development Coordinator on each campus to work with co-workers when desired in identifying other opportunities within the company and career paths to help them to continue to succeed. Because our co-workers care so much and put so much energy into their roles, we also recognize the days can be long. We respect the work-life balance and have invested in tools to better manage shift schedules and compensate for overtime. Thank you for all you contributed while on our team, and we hope you are doing well in your new endeavors.

Pros

Working with the residents. Dining services is fantastic.

Cons

Supporting unprofessional VP. Rash decisions made. Change in benefits structure. Management gets better benefits than direct care staff and direct care are who really need benefit help.

Thank you for recognizing that it is all about serving our residents. They and our fellow co-workers make it all worthwhile. Our home office works very closely with whole campus from the campus management to the direct caregivers with regular campus visits, group meetings and one-on-one sessions with departments and individuals. Those interactions provide productive forums for the campus co-workers to share constructive feedback and input and the corporate resource team to offer considered solutions and ideas based on those insights. The same comprehensive healthcare benefits including medical coverage are available to all co-workers working at least 26 hours per week in every role. We hope you will share your suggestions and concerns with your direct supervisor or if needed to our executive team at Corporate@CountryMeadows.com or our anonymous Stupid Rules channel at www.CountryMeadows.com/StupidRules. Thank you for your contributions to our residents and team.
