Pros

So many different opportunities! I started as a temp in 2009, making 8.25, left there in 2016 at $23.78. Job security, they are also understanding about family time (leaving to pick up kids from school) and accommodate you if u hand been there a while and are a good consistent worker. All holidays off! 2 weeks of vacation a year.

Cons

Too much politics. County tends to promote management based on “diversity” and not qualification. Caseloads for caseworkers (this is the last position I held and left after I had my son) are 250 or more, when they should be at 80 per person.

Pros

There's room for advancement. External customer service is great.

Cons

It's more so a who you know, not what you know type of work environment. Internal customer service needs work.
