Too many chiefs, not enough indians. Upper management cares about $$$ more than the value of seasoned, hard working drivers

All of our executives have an open door policy and our employees have personal access to them to voice their opinions and concerns. We do our best to promote a family environment and the executive team wants to know if this is not your experience with Cowan. As Fleet Manager, you have the opportunity provide valuable information on ways we can improve and grow together as a company. We recently sent an Employee Satisfaction Survey to all company operations staff requesting feedback on their experience as a Cowan employee and asking for their suggestions on how we can better serve our employees. I really hope that you take full advantage of this opportunity to share your views! We are all a part of the same team and everyone makes a difference in continually enhancing the service that we provide to our employees and our customers. I want to address your statement regarding respect for drivers. Cowan’s Driver Retention Team is dedicated to consistent customer service to our drivers. This department is designed to provide 24 hour support to drivers to ensure that they have access to all of the tools they need to operate in a safe and successful manner. Our drivers are incredibly important to us and we work hard to make the lives of our professional drivers safer and more productive. We also consistently offer driver incentive programs and company sponsored events to show our drivers our continual appreciation. I encourage you to reach out to your manager or the HR Department to talk about these, and any other concerns that you may have. Your voice matters to us! Great company, works hard to make you happy and successful, very family oriented

Cons

Only bad thing about the company is that there insurance rates are TOO HIGH.
