      Pros

      Overall work-life balance is pretty positive. Good benefits. While bottom-line results are obviously important, as a privately-held company they tend to take a longer view of things. There is no other company in the automotive business that has the breadth of product offerings Cox has.

      Cons

      Constant re-orgs happening, especially in certain parts of the organization. Most managers, at least at corporate, focus on managing up and not helping their team grow. I still haven't gotten my formal documented mid-year or year-end review submitted to me and no one has approved my goals for this year. Passive-aggressive culture. Way too much time spent talking about and creating documentation on what you are or will be doing, not enough time spent on actually doing it. Lots of new people at corporate whose job functions are unclear or duplicate. AND TOO MUCH @#$% POWERPOINT! People waste so much time on "the deck" instead of doing the work.

      Pros

      Cox Auto is a division of Cox Enterprises, a 100+ year old Private company that offers great opportunity for folks who are passionate about the car business. Cox Auto features a Media Division (Autotrader, KBB), and Software division (vAuto, Vin Solutions, Dealer.com amongst others). Opportunities throughout the US but concentrated in the following cities: Atlanta, LA, Detroit, Burlington VT.

      Cons

      Not first to market with new technologies. Not as progressive and fast moving as other tech companies.
