      Pros

      The ability to move around within the Cox umbrella is a plus. The company offers excellent benefits and some great perks. The company does tend to promote from within.

      Cons

      To be a communications company, there was a lack of communications within the Cox Media (at least in the office where I worked). My team lacked direct leadership, although the office itself had pretty decent leaders. Too much office politics. Things are slow to get done. You can suggest ideas to improve the overall daily operations, but nothing ever gets done. Very little room for promotion within Cox Media.

      Pros

      Easy low stress job. Did not often have to get up for much. The calls are all pretty much the same so you get better and better at asking questions. And you know how to fix you own cable.

      Cons

      Since it is a call center you are sitting most of the time. I often became tired of having people yell at me. I had to wait for help if there was a question I could not answer.

      Pros

      Open door policy is the best. We are encouraged to share our ideas, and leadership support changes for the better. Managers typically don't micro manage either!

      Cons

      Not a serious downside, but we don't do alot of events -- like company picnics -- but it's a good sacrifice to keep the company financially stable.
