Pros

Pay is pretty good. Starts around $18.00 per hour. Also have pto as soon as you start.

Cons

Supervisors/Management push sales way to heavy for the Tech Support position. Almost feels like they really don’t care about trouble shooting for customers and focus on how we can squeeze more money from them. Is this tech support or sales? I can see occasionally pitching upgrades but supervisors want you to do it constantly which is very annoying. Customers are calling mostly because their services aren’t working, why would they want to spend more money when they aren’t even satisfied with what they are paying? Calls are back to back and Customers are constantly rude, but honestly can’t blame them since their services are inconsistent. Cox also does shift bids which is so unfair. A lot of people get stuck with horrible schedules that they have to keep for a year. 3pm-12pm shifts getting yelled out by customers all night may not be worth the money.
