Pros

Family business, third generation. Privately held company. Small company feel with the backing and stability of a large corporation. Excellent retirement and profit sharing package. The company values longevity and innovative ideas. Credibility and strong brand in the market. Flexibility is given (depending on the publisher and specific brand) which is very important.

Cons

The current state of publishing has created challenges. The company has consolidated resources and staff.
