Pros

Employee reviews, regular business reviews by management, technology upgrades/investments. Management consistently looks for ways to improve business and revenue. There is also a sense that management has genuine regard for employees.

Cons

Can be highly political and tends to be staffed a bit too lean. This inhibits the best possible performance from most employees. Communication between business units tends to happen in silos. The political nature can also prohibit them from addressing areas of concern that could better benefit all.

Pros

Wide variety of titles and events in its global portfolio. Leader in various sectors. Work in print and online media.

Cons

Aging company with very poor development opportunities within the business. If you're under 40, you're talked to as if you're a child. When there are changes in the business, there is minimal support to assist with the transition. Poor holiday allowance.
