Pros

One of the few jobs, if you're good at it, you are a commodity.

Cons

Not treated like a commodity. You feel more like a liability than an asset. The job can be physically and mentally demanding, extremely unsafe at times. There is practically no training before technicians are expected to go out on their own and do the job.

Management is abusive and constantly lies to staff. 1000$ deductible if damage to truck Management misinforms staff and encourages lack of safety

Management don't care about the customer, just how much cash can they get from them. No actual technicians just back yard mechanics.
