Pros

PTO available at the beginning of the year Technicians, other branch level employees and dispatch team are hard working

Cons

Corporate salaried employees at the top making undercooked decisions that hurt the hard working service techs Too many corporate changes/projects are implemented too early, they need to focus on implementing one thing successfully before moving on to the next project Nothing matters as long as the numbers go up, like most corporations in our capitalistic hellscape

Pros

San Francisco service manager is great and does his best to take care of his team.

Cons

The upper management and corporation as a whole does not care about the people who work here. There is no communication to service managers and below. There is very little to no training on new machines even after you are expected to be fixing those machines. Customers are allowed to harass you for years with no backup or support from upper management.

Pros

Salaries have increased under Crane, CPI, NXT…whoever we are. Local management is great.

Cons

I would gladly give it all back to get rid of the incompetent upper management. They either have no idea how to run a service company or are purposefully trying to tank the company. Some days I lean towards the latter. I am positive upper management wakes up every day and ask themselves, “How can I make it more difficult for technicians to do their jobs?” Seriously, they must LOVE common core math. They think the concept of adding more steps and having to access multiple platforms to do your job is “Progress”. This system has proven to be less efficient and cause MANY MORE problems than it has resolved but they gaslight us by saying “we are not going backwards”. Its like they are telling us its better to eat soup with a fork rather than a spoon. Then we are the crazy ones for not believing them. They do not want you to think. Just do what you’re told. No thinking allowed.
