You will be dropped in the deep end, and if you drown, you drown. There seems to be an insider/outsider mentality and some folks are on the outside. Information can be tightly held and not shared even to we who need it.

Inconsistent management that tries to run an engineering company like a assembly line. Cray expects employees to give 150%, but never seem to recognize this outside of a worthless "attaboy" now and then. Benefits keep decreasing, while compensation remains static and is below industry standard. The salary of the CEO is about 30-40 times that of the "average" employee. Cray is constantly promising product features that do not exist, and this causes engineering "fire drills" as we scurry around trying to add features. This reveals a very poor understanding of customer requirements/desires on the part of product management.
