Pros

Good, smart colleagues with good intentions. Unfortunately, what brings people together is the con side of this organization.

Cons

A brown-noser breeding environment as people are discouraged to speak up and bring even the most mundane issues to live. Those who do speak up are shunned and generally excluded from any meaningful discussions. This top-down, conservative organization is poorly managed and personality driven. Recently, the management mistakes have led to the company's losing much of its business and it is completely logical given that the management tends to find fault for its missteps with others. Needless to say, this breeds the culture of paranoia, mistrust and back-stabbing.

Pros

While I was there it was a female owned company with women and people of color in managerial positions. Opportunities to learn new skills and about other projects at 'lunch and learns' also a variety of trainings available digitally and in person. Open door policy where you could pretty much pop in to anyone's office for a chat. Projects in countries worldwide. It seems like a nice place to work as a senior-level manager. I felt supported by my direct managers and director.

Cons

Junior employees are treated unkindly, especially by non-project staff. There is an attitude that some employees possess because they have worked there for so long they can treat younger staff rudely. This is not the place to grow or progress in your career. I have seen junior employees be shut-down at meetings when voicing their concerns. Favoritism is rampant. Management sees recent graduates as disposable: hires them at an extremely low salary and uses them until they get fed up and quit. HR management is not concerned with the high turnover rate.

Pros

Plenty of opportunities to travel, opportunities to try many different hats

Cons

Bureaucratic and backward. Long grueling hours are often expected. For for a woman owned company they sure do not have a lot of women in leadership positions.
