Pros
In good times and in challenging times, the company is fairly consistent in its approach to the business. Compliance rules the day - legal constraints slow progress but we generally get things right (fair to both consumers and dealers). If you're willing to dig, the answers are available. There aren't many lines of defense.
Cons
Its a volatile business right now. Regulators make business difficult - not just for CA, but for consumers and dealers, too.
