They will work you into the dirt with little to know appreciation no matter if you go above and beyond, work nights, take afterhours calls and come in on weekends for emergencies when your customers call your Cell phone at 2am etc... They don't seem to value employees that want to grow and make money. I had the highest sales in my location, I was paid "ok" but not near what I was worth for what I brought in. Regional managers were not great, I got let go out of the blue during downsizing. and I'm still pretty sure it had something to do with forgetting my dress pants and having to wear dark jeans to a 5 day conference and my regional manager was heated... (Met the guy about 4 times in my 5 years of excelling and growing sales, and he's the one that laid me off not long after...) Long story short, I do not regret working there, it gave me a wealth of knowledge and people skills, and most of all it opened the door and set me up to take on a role that pays me almost triple what I made there. (With potential to triple that!!) I can't stress enough that Crescent is a stepping stone career though. I don't know more than 1 person who was planning on working there for the rest of their life... That was just a known.
