Going in the Wrong Direction

Pros

Good benefits, well-respected in some industries, decent work/life balance

Cons

Only longer tenured employees who are "Crowe grown" get to senior leadership positions. They do not value outside industry expertise of "experienced" hires. If you don't learn how to play the Crowe way, you are doomed. Significant disparity in compensation with partners making much more $, staff through director levels are paid well below market rates and need to pretty much beg for small salary increases and bonuses. Given the lack of strong leadership in the pipeline, there is not much hope for improvement in the near future = just more long-tenured Crowe kool aid drinkers moving onto their board and C-suite.

Pros

Great Benefits. Pay is on par with other competitors. Working remote. CEO made some good changes while I was employed there. (dress code, working remote, flex holidays)

Cons

Burn n' Churn mindset with management. Some managers act like they are in charge of the nuclear launch codes rather than working in Accounting.
