      Great place to work all things considered

      Pros

      Management seems to really care. They seem to be trying to grow CH into a global, world class firm, in a way that is smart and cautious. It also seems like the new blood in the C-suite is making some real changes that have been needed for a long time.

      Cons

      Public accounting is just brutal, and there's no wayt around it. It's not just Crowe. Work life balance is difficult at best. Also, if you get stick with a bad manager, your work life can be terrible, even if the overall company means well.

      Friendly and helpful co-workers Flexible work schedules A lot of emphasis on work/life balance Many opportunities for career growth and advancement

      Cons

      I personally have not found any downsides to working at Crowe Horwath yet, and I cannot think of any reason why I would want to leave the company.

      Pros

      This company tries very hard to live its values. Respect for co-workers and clients is a key attribute of Crowe. The company continues to be healthy even during difficult economic times. Crowe is a mid-sized firm that gives employees experiences with a very diverse client base. Growing into new markets and becoming a national firm with international presence due to Horwath relationship. Humility on the part of most senior level executives is a refreshing attribute. Easy to be recognized for making an impact.

      Cons

      Conservative firm that takes time to adopt some workplace initiatives, i.e. casual Fridays. Consulting is not for everyone. Travel is required for most roles.
