Excellent Job Despite Disorganization

Pros

Crowley has excellent benefits and is a major contributor to Jacksonville’s economy. Stellar atmosphere within your team and opportunities to bond with others. Higher salary than most logistics jobs I’ve personally worked in. Jacksonville office works primarily with pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, clothing, food and beverage, and automotive clients. There are other clients in other industries as well and flatbed/heavy-haul work.

Cons

Disorganized implementation of changes throughout company. Disconnected internal communication between teams. Several software systems starting at once and seemingly not in an efficient manner. Important issues often overlooked, unaware of, and/or ignored.

Pros

Work from home flexibility. The team I am in only goes into the office a couple of times a month.

Cons

We are severely under staffed. Managers work on weekends, nights, on their honeymoons, PTO. 6 days a week is a given. You get Teams messages at all time. If you don't work over 60 hours a week, don't expect to move up. We don't get competitive raises and bonuses are mid.
