Beware of the Small Cell side

Pros

Snacks Company all hands destination meetings (*if you're invited to go) Offices (if you're stationed in one) Promotions (if you're one of the chosen ones) Monthly gym reimbursement

Cons

Overworked by management/executive's decisions to implement their system which apparently fails miserably-even after they've reached out to employees for suggestions. No work/life balances. Management/executives runs in this 'all boys club' regime. HR's a joke. Military hierarchy (fits the all boys club mentioned above). Management/executive does not allow transparency, and gives contradicting outlines. Very little-no milestones. Very little opportunity in growth. Most folks get stuck being a contractor. When they state "competitive pay", this typically means they'll try to pay you as low as they can from the national standard for that position (not the living wage standard in the area). If there is one it is not very well thought out, and scapegoats to the low of the totem pole.

Pros

Great benefits and bonus structure, somewhat flexible hours, nice locations. Growing company with a relatively safe future. Excellent reputation with customers and landowners. Management is generally understanding of real-life issues. Lower level employees are kept well informed by upper management. Company spends freely on meals, events, parties, travel... (this may be a con depending on your perspective).

Cons

Meetings, meetings about meetings, meetings just to have meetings. Awkward interview process, internal or external, which rewards the loudest and proudest instead of those who actually produce. Little to no training program. The usual modern office issues - very political, unjustified middle-management egos. Culture definitely favors alpha males and go-getters.. if you're at all quiet, reserved or solely focused on your work, this might not be a good fit.
