Pros

Decent pay and benefits but not much else. A lot of good people that are treated poorly. Has a microwave for lunch and vending machines.

Cons

Wow, this would take hours but the lack of support from managers, lack of integrity of the managers, unethical treatment of employees. Of the people that truly have not drank the cool aid, there is only promotion for those that agree with everything and do not speak their mind otherwise, you are not a team player! I have seen over the many years, people promoted based on who you know or how well your liked and they have no clue how to do the job nor are they qualified! I could write a book from my experience on what not to do and how not to treat people. Your just a number to them, they will use you up and discard you when done!

Pros

The people are friendly overall, and the pay is very good. Opportunities to travel.

Cons

Small-town mentality, highly political, poor leadership, mismanagement, lazy employees who have no fear of getting fired, lies and gossip that affect people's jobs and lives. No room for growth, lots of political bull to navigate through, management has zero respect for their employees and are given power due to length of time at company, not based on skill or knowledge. Company is not willing to change or grow in order to accommodate the people they want working for them. No working from home, no flexible hours, no flexibility in attire. People play "favorites," certain groups have more freedom or power than others, all of this goes unmanaged. Instead of being fired you can become hidden away in a corner in an unfulfilling, uncreative position with no respect. Happens to "tenured" employees who can no longer deliver and bad apples, and seems fairly abusive and ineffective as a business strategy. Some of the best thinkers are ignored or talked down to because management has built itself up on who has the biggest stick. Company is stagnating and throwing money at problems, rather than allowing true ideas to flourish. Each group wants their own name on the next "big thing" and are all going down with the ship together by not collaborating.

Pros

- Small town atmosphere - Family-owned - Attractive starting salaries for technical positions - Relocation services - Vertical integration presents opportunities for lateral movement within the organization

Cons

- Nepotism/Favoritism - Stagnant wage increases - not keeping up with cost of living. In fact, everyone gets the exact same percent increase. This is regardless of how hard you work. Slackers get the same pay increase as hard workers. It's almost like Socialism. - Below average healthcare benefits coupled with ever-increasing premiums. If you like paying lots of money for very little benefit, this is the place for you! - Below average tuition reimbursement - Below average 401K plan - Lack of integrity in management - unkept promises - Feel like you need everything to be put in writing - If you're not from New Bremen, don't count on getting promoted - Be prepared to do other people's jobs when they slack off and don't get their work finished
