Pros

Really smart coworkers with high work ethics.

Cons

Has to be inexperienced leadership and management. Environment has become very toxic, people are fired left, right and center in the name of accountability. making a startup successful and scaling the same startup are two very different games. They should have sourced an experienced COO (if not CEO) long back. Now all that is there is a directionless chaos, structural dysfunction and an arrogant bro culture emanating from oldies(and form top). if you are not in the "club", you are invisible. This has demotivated a lot of genuinely nice and talented folks. Please think twice before joining this company.

Pros

Good base pay, catered lunch

Cons

- Incompetent front line managers. - No goals - No path to promotion (90% receive an OT or "ok" grade and 5% each receive a good and bad because of stacked ranking). - Drama because most of the junior managers are drama queens and new to the role. - Chaotic - I have seen three people in my team fired without notice even though they were competent. The one guy who everyone hates keeps skating along. - HR/Legal is shady and unethical: They took away 50% of everyone's stock incentive plan and basically twisted everyone's arm forcing them to invest in the company. - Not kids and remote friendly. The 1201 office people are forced to commute to the middle of nowhere far away from public transport and they won't let people WFH without filling out a form and getting approval from HR - a process in which the snobby HR people want you to submit photos of your home. - They are burning a billion dollars a year on a product which is far away from seeing the light of the day.

Pros

Cool technology/product space to work in

Cons

Incompetent, fear-driven leadership does not understand the importance of culture to their business success. Kyle (founder and former-CEO) is in over his head and is not a kind man who doesn't have the time of day for his employees. Lots of good people are let go with little notice and seemingly no reason with disturbing frequency. This is not a stable or steady place to build a career.
