Pros

– Lunch is good. Snacks were okay. That's about it.

Cons

– Leadership is solely focused on one goal (get cars on the road) but in the process they lose connection with employees at the company, especially those not working directly on the cars. – The company/leadership put together an attractive "About Me" page touting they care about diversity, inclusion, and their employees but that is simply not true. Go click the "Leadership" tab on the website and you'll see 3 men. The company talks a big game and does not back it up. – The rate at which the company is growing is staggering and, unfortunately, the business infrastructure is not set up to handle the kind of hiring they plan to do this year. Good luck having your own desk – and, if you do, good luck staying there for longer than a month. – The HR/People team is understaffed with generally underqualified people. – The number of times I heard people say "that's not my job" is startling – there's a total lack of ownership and responsibility. – Mid-level managers don't have the support or training to help grow their careers which means they are less motivated to help their teams. Since the company is growing so fast, you'd think that means lots of opportunities for growth. The opposite is true since business operations are completely lacking.

Pros

Lots of funding Being in San Francisco is really nice There are some smart folks scattered around in each department and they are a pleasure to work with, but most of the OG smart ones left over the past ones.

Cons

Arbitrary and constant policies changes Getting friendly with early members can get you success quickly but not for your work Most teams don’t have real managers, so if you wanted to come in and grow professionally under your managers tutelage, then forget about. It’s still full of kids trying to fit into grown up shoes.
