Great place to work if you're looking for: - interesting technical challenges - smart and kind people - great compensation - supportive mid-level managers - meritocracy: if you're a great engineer, you will advance fast. the right structures are in place to reward your work and support your career growth - an above-average level of diversity & inclusion. gender ratios seem much better than at other tech companies

Cons

- uncertainties: the AV sector is quite risky and subject to regulatory risks, as we're seeing with Cruise right now - work-life balance can be a bit tough, since there are always pressing problems to solve. but if the work is exciting to you, this can also be a pro!

Some of the most interesting, meaningful work you'll do in your life. You will work with the smartest people you've ever worked with. Cruise is hyper-focused on a single mission and it shows positively in its day to day.

Cons

Not an amazing culture of work-life balance. You can attain it but you have to be disciplined about it. Otherwise you'll get pulled into overworking by the culture. Soft skills of managers can be hit or miss.
