Pros

Incredible community. PTM/ Personal trainers are wonderful.

Cons

The PRESALE GYM GM allowed: No running water, no bathrooms, required us to use our personal phones to make hundreds of calls daily. Don’t fire a disabled 50 year old veteran because he isn’t comfortable locking his phone away in your office. Fired people for not liking them. Extreme micro manage. Not kind. Forced me as a AGM, to do all training, hiring, processing sales, attend events with no gas reimbursement. No consistency. No communication.

Pros

-Free membership, friendly employees, usually friendly customers, communication skills, inventory management skills, knowledge and insight of fitness, and growing as one as employees.

Cons

You have to stand for your entire shift, my manager took away stool privledges and now l cant sit down. No hats or any sort of way of wearing what you want, even when after working there for 4 months you have 1 employee shirt. They change upper management like your shoes, and its worrrysome because the more changes that are being made, the worse it looks on the company as a whole. Its getting really frustrating to have a different GM almost at my rate 1 per month. I've also had 3 regional managers since the beginning of my employment, again been working for 4 months thats disgusting as upper management. No holiday pay either, market basket offers it to employees yet somehow the gym does not, really insane that they dont offer it.

Pros

They pay you a decent percentage based off how much you train. The more, the better.

Cons

Crunch is just not a good company. The CEO said there’s no such thing as a work life balance and it’s true. It’s just so stressful I wouldn’t recommend. They push sales so hard even if you are at a place where you want to be. Their management is not good at all. They use scare tactics and do not help employees that are struggling, they just threaten them. Their turnover rate is insane, I saw seven people leave in a month and a half which is telling of the environment.
