Working at CTL offers industry specific education, inspiration, and leadership to their employees.
Pros
As a relatively new employee working for CTL my experiences have been really positive, for example my first couple weeks on the job I was working on a pipeline project in WV, but I ended up hurting my ankle, CTL let me have the next day off and paid my medical expenses to get my ankle looked at, without having received company benefits yet. That act really made me feel like I was a part of a family not just a workplace. A second example that I have is that I am an avid deer hunter so hunting the rut is second to none. I have been unable to find time to get out in a tree, because I haven't acquired much time off yet. CTL allowed me to leave early one evening in order for me to be able to go deer hunting. CTL cares for their employees and treats them like family, I have many more examples I could share. I feel like the current staff in the environmental department is some of the best people to work with and work for. CTL has also allowed me to head up new business endeavors in which we can offer new servicessation to our clients, this Spring we are starting aquatic invasive control and coming soon electrofishing for stream surveys! CTL is a great place for inspiration and shaping leaders.
Cons
The only cons that I can see is that our marketing strategies aren't currently up to date with our services. I feel like any prospective clients who would gain insiget into what we can do and what we are about it would go a long way, I have every confidence in the world with our current staff that we will get the job done and surprise our clients with the quality of our new and improved work and staff.
