Established track record of over 95 years of providing various third party testing and engineering services. Good reputation of providing quality consulting services. Good support for professional training/certifications opportunities and growth. Stable employment with a lot of flexibility for work/life balance. Excellent retirement savings plan with ESOP. Organically grown to 11 offices and over 275 employees in the last 30 years. Turnover is very low for employees who have been with the company for over 5 years.
Cons
Communication is a two way street. Although management is easily accessible, there are delays in communication and implementing action items and owner/employees are equally responsible. COVID and remote working has affected team building and communication. HR services need improvement. Although overall compensation with ESOP and 401K match is very good, base salaries could be increased to attract more talent.
