Pros

Pay is good for the industry. Vacation is good but can be hard to take if you have long tenured Co leaders.

Cons

Senior leadership runs with fear. Call ins daily with no plans to fill back. Employee morale is brutally low and no plans to address it.

Pros

They tried to keep everyone busy. Coworkers were generally nice. The actual job was fairly easy.

Cons

Bad management, no raise after 9 months but they kept adding responsibilities. I was paid $8/hr to train new hires that started at $8+/hr. Managers are quick to judge, don't ask what really happened when a customer complained. Really mean customers. Dirty work facilities. They don't give you enough hours. They keep decreasing employees benefits. Unreliable job altogether.

Pros

-Coworkers, you can meet and make some good friends. -most customers are so nice and friendly. -if in a small town store, easier to get promoted. -good for part time or temporarily until a better job comes along.

Cons

-They have flexible hours, as in you have to be flexible to their hours. -lack of the family atmosphere they claim to have. -most management that cares for employees get pushed out. -most current management run stores or departments with fear because upper management does the same. Or possibly due to them being just horrible people. -the union doesn't have the power it once had. -no one wants to help you unless your already connected to someone in upper management. -almost impossible to get promoted -can't challenge the status quo -too many managers act like spoiled children, and somehow get away with it no matter how many complaints happen.
