Pros

- Selling cubes and merchandise is fairly easy and “need” based as opposed to “want” - Usually working with one or more other teammates

Cons

- Micro-managing - Low pay - More work than description states - Management pushes an overly-cringeworthy “culture” that most teammates want no part of

Pros

Some of the customers you meet while working there

Cons

My health quickly declined after starting with this company. My blood pressure was running sky high, I was under constant stress and some days didn't get lunch AND left an hour late to get everything done that was asked on their checklists when higher ups would come though. You are maintenance, management, therapist, collections, customer service and much more working for this company. They definitely show favoritism and allow their favorites to do whatever they want with no repercussions. My area FTS and her husband worked at separate stores and got their daughter hired as my SM. I did not find out until they called to tell me she was coming for her tour that she was related to my FTS and her husband. The daughter continuously tried to micromanage me with her parents assistance. They changed my schedule without asking on several occasions. They were always on their phones and did minimum to help on the property. The husband would do food delivery on the clock and sit at the desk with his feet up vaping and spying on other stores though the security cameras. They would use their cell phones to pull up cameras at other locations and spy on employees. They also used their phones to clock in and out without even being at work. They would be at Walmart or getting breakfast and clock in on their phones and get to work late. I was told it was immediate termination for signing in to company portal from personal devices. They did not care about your physical health and you constantly had them asking more of you and no extra help. I was terminated and they are fighting my unemployment benefits. Upper management especially the DM lied and said I voluntarily resigned. If you want a job where you are constantly stressed and running around this is it. Call center is 24 hours and calls you off the clock to assist customers. If it were an emergency at the property that would be one thing. They expect you to answer and assist no matter if you're out on medical leave or asleep. Then if you try to adjust your time to get paid for it they threaten to terminate you. Definitely not worth the pay they offer and not worth the stress you put yourself through.
