      Pros

      CEI has great benefits. The health insurance, HSA matching and vacation were all stellar. The health insurance kicked on the 1st of the month after employment which is kind of unheard of.

      Cons

      Very difficult to get noticed and looked at for future growth. As a traveling employee for CEI you are left in a bubble of a job site without any communication with the corporate office and will be left to fend for your self.

      Resourceful engineering department. A lot of opportunities for growth.

      Cons

      Silicon Valley is an expensive place to live so you must be very good at this job to be able to make enough for decent living.

      Pros

      I've worked at CEI for 4 1/2 years. Cupertino Electric is a family owned business and I am so happy to be a part of the CEI family. I love my job and the people I work with. The perks and benefits are amazing, but most of all it's the way CEI treats there employees.

      Cons

      We don't have a cafeteria.

We pride ourselves in our people and believe in creating an environment where people are excited to show up and do their best work. True, we don’t currently have a full on-site cafeteria (we do have vending, complimentary coffee, and special employee lunch events). However, we are continually exploring new opportunities with regards to food service and will take your comment into consideration. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
