Pros

- meaningful mission - great base pay - okay culture and work life balance

Cons

- 0 possibility of equity - 0 transparency on career advancement or ladders - 0 culture of feedback or criticism tolerated Company showed promise initially, but lack of growth opportunities, dead end work, and poor business model made me glad to move forward after all was done. Unceremoniously laid off one Monday after nearly 2 years with 0 feedback or warning given prior.

Pros

Quick advancement Lots of learning opportunities Great leaders Amazing opportunity for those with a growth mindset.

Cons

It's a start up which isn't necessarily a bad thing but this does mean tons of changes. Work life balance is an issue to an extent but management has done a great job of assisting with this and they are actively working on it.

Pros

Easy, good benefits, quick hiring

Cons

They have a terrible hiring process. I barely had what they called an "interview" and I thought that I had been hired because I have prior medical experience, but it turns out the employees that are called "healthcare workers" most often have no experience in the field at all and are not properly trained. Following HIPAA is a joke and they let management of all levels operate completely autonomously leading to nepotism. People in management have had no real experience in management let alone healthcare and there are no checks and balances so the only people who get promoted are those who are friends with someone above them rather than those with any relevant experience. Integrity of tests are constantly compromised as they often become contaminated while people are administering the tests on themselves and even management has an "oh well" attitude about this. It's unfortunate the way this company is run because it's good pay and benefits but as someone who really cares about the medical field, privacy, and this type of high-stakes testing it's difficult to see the good. I would say that this could be localized to my location but these issues are also present in the five other locations within my region.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We take your concerns seriously. We can assure you that we take HIPAA seriously and conduct training accordingly. We recognize that as our company has evolved quickly, our ability to offer management and leadership skill development has not occurred at the same pace. In addition to recent training that was launched over the past couple of months, we will continue to assess what our needs are and address skill gaps accordingly.
