Pros

- Above average pay for entry level positions - Free lunch but not even they replaced it with a bunch of unhealthy frozen "food". - If you're that desperate for experience, but only someone as intense/cutthroat as me would go this far or choose this route.

Cons

- Rampant nepotism. someone became an upper level automation engineer without even having been in biotech or having health care experience all because the director was her sister. - Nasty, nasty people. sometimes I would walk into the office and the first thing I would hear in the morning would be my boss screaming at the top of her lungs. one of my coworkers even got a panic attack from this. - Falsification of Covid-19 validation data. This is a serious one. These machines were "validated" so that they can be used as soon as possible. I would not recommend any friends or family to test here. No proper quality control or proof of data. qPCR data was essentially thrown out with only numbers to show for it in the validation reports. anyone can make this up. - You will always have anxiety and live in fear of job security. These people have played with peoples livelihoods. Some people get hired just to get laid off not even 5 months into the job. Mistakes are not tolerated, you can literally get fired for making one simple mistake because theyre always trying to fire people, due to having too many staff when covid is down. and more. so, so so much more. This is only the tip of the iceberg.
