Pros

A few really good employees and the manufacturing leadership is trying very hard to make positive changes.

Cons

Almost everything else. Old facility, outdated ways of working, majority of the staff doesn't want anything to change and the rest of them are overworked. The site head has created a work environment based on fear of being fired, and the HR team has helped him to build and perpetuate this environment. And unfortunately, that's pretty much the only thing the HR department does - good luck getting them to answer you or respond to any issues unless they think it's an opportunity to fire someone so that they can fake that they actually do things.

Pros

The vacation time offered and health benefits are good.

Cons

-Depending on the department, the culture/environment can be superb or awful. -Compensation is below the industry standard. -Life in Albany is an acquired taste. -Support/sensitivety for minorities in the Capital region is boasted due to left-leaning people, but prejudice is ever-present under the surface.
