Pros

It’s an honor to represent products that support teachers and contribute to the lives of children.

Cons

The work- life balance practices are leading to many taking advantage of the unlimited PTO polices while others have to work harder in their absence. Bringing these concerns to upper management has not led to any changes. The hard workers are working longer and hard while many use the system CA created to take optional medical leaves and extended vacations and work part of the day. It’s an epidemic that has no end in sight.

Pros

CA is a overall a great place to work with high caliber of coworkers and lots of opportunities for learning. During the busy seasons, it is easy to get burnt out, but the company encourages self-care during the quieter periods which allows for some balance. As an growing-company, there is a lot of change and challenges, while a strong effort to respect the employee while keeping our educators and schools first.

Cons

Busy, some times there is not a lot of understanding for work life balance - Talk yes, but in practice not always. With the hiring of new managers, micromanagement is becoming more common that sometimes goes against the culture- that initially drew people to the company.
