A unique facility

Pros

All products are designed and built within the same facility. There aren't very many places where you see the entire life of a product from design to manufacturing.

Cons

Because of all of the government work done, excessive paperwork is mandatory. The pace of work is drastically affected by the paper associated with each job.

Pros

Hourly can work all the overtime they want and don't have to justify there workload. Salary work less than 8 hours day and no overtime.

Cons

ok place to work if you like a double or triple workload, then when you leave they hire 2 or 3 people to replace you

Great people; Poor management

Pros

Pays reasonably well for the area. Challenging and interesting product line. Lot of great vendors to work with and the majority of rank and file are good to work with.

Cons

Management did not grow when the company was bought by Curtiss Wright Flow Control so the small business (mom and pop dictatorship) remained.
